The UN Security Council demands an end to the siege of El-Fasher in Sudan's Darfur region, where fighting between government and paramilitary forces has provoked a humanitarian crisis. The resolution, which was prepared by Britain and received 14 votes in favor with Russia abstaining, demands that the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces "halt the siege of El Fasher" and also calls for "an immediate halt to the fighting and for de-escalation in and around El-Fasher." Impressionnante file d’attente ce vendredi 10 avril vers midi à l’hypermarché Carrefour d’Ecole-Valentin. En raison des restrictions, cette grande surface a mis en place un dispositif de limitation, avec des barrières installées tout le long de la galerie marchande, où chacun doit attendre en respectant bien sûr la distance de sécurité. C’est peut-être le week-end pascal qui explique cette affluence, avec la volonté de s’offrir, même confiné, un bon repas, et celle d’acheter des chocolats aux enfants.
