British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak arrives at Northern Ireland's Assembly in Belfast on the second day of his two-day visit to the UK territory, which comes after Sinn Fein's Michelle O'Neill made history by becoming its first nationalist leader. O'Neill, a pro-Irish unity politician, has predicted that Northern Ireland will hold a vote on unification with Ireland within the next decade. During a speech delivered to the press in London's Downing Street briefing room, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announces the push back of the ban on the sale of petrol and diesel cars from 2030 to 2035. "We're going to ease the transition to electric vehicles. You'll still be able to buy petrol and diesel cars and vans until 2035.", he states.
