Venice carnival kicks off with two flights of the angel

Description

The carnival of Venice kicks off with not one, but two flights from the campanile of St. Mark's Square. In addition to the traditional 'Mary’ who performs the flight of the angel, this year the organisers have agreed to let go down a second young woman, Micol Rossi, affected by Crohn's disease.
