A Illzach, la démolition de la friche SIPP s’achève

A Illzach, une friche XXL est en passe de disparaître du paysage: celle de l’ancienne usine textile SIPP, des locaux industriels à l’abandon depuis des années. Les spécialistes de l’entreprise Batichoc démolition de Riedisheim sont à l’œuvre depuis début avril pour abattre les 11 bâtiments et deux maisonnettes du site, une mission qui s’achèvera à la fin de ce mois de juin. « On termine cette semaine ce qu’on appelle la démolition de superstructure, c’est-à-dire tout ce qui est hors sol. On traitera la semaine prochaine tout ce qui est infrastructures, donc les dallages et fondations, puis il restera le concassage», expliquait ce mardi Thomas Gaidella, le gérant de Batichoc. Le terrain bientôt vacant s’étend sur 29000 m². Il a été racheté par Nexity qui, avec différents partenaires, a conçu une opération immobilière baptisée Terres de coton prévoyant la réalisation de près de 120 logements - sous diverses formes - à l’horizon de fin 2021.
