Firefighters work on the scene of a strike in Kharkiv, after Russia launched around 10 missiles at the northeastern Ukrainian city on Sunday, injuring 41 people, including five children, according to the head of the region's military administration. The attack targeted civilian infrastructure and damaged a post office, shops, a sports complex, a shopping centre and several vehicles, Oleg Synegubov has said. IMAGES
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says that his military has deployed Western-supplied F-16 fighter jets to counter Russia's recent large-scale drone and missile attacks. "We destroyed already some missiles and drones using the F-16," Zelensky says at a press conference in Kyiv, declining to give more details. SOUNDBITE
