Libyan exile returns home after 43 years

Description

After 43 years, Libyan exile Abdoullassem Al Naji finally returns to his homeland. Helped by the Red Cross, he has been reunited with the family he left behind in Libya decades ago. Next, there's fierce debate in Tunisia as the government weighs up the pros and cons of granting a shale gas drilling permit to energy giant Shell. Finally, we go to the movies in Morocco, where we settle down for a look at the Zagora Trans-Saharan film festival.

    People protest to demand justice for 43 Mexican students at the Ayotzinapa Rural Teachers' College who disappeared in the southwest state of Guerrero in September 2014. The students went missing as they were traveling by bus to participate in demonstrations in Mexico City. Investigators said that they were detained by corrupt police and handed over to a drug cartel, though exactly what happened to them is unclear. In July, a commission created in 2014 under an agreement between Mexico and the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights to investigate the atrocity said that the state was responsible for the concealment of vital information, making it impossible to continue its work.
