A 24 heures de la fin du mercato, l'Olympique lyonnais enregistre son troisième renfort avec l'arrivée de Pape Diakhaté. Le défenseur international sénégalais, que l'AS Saint-Etienne n'avait pu conserver à la fin de saison dernière à cause d'une close libératoire fixée à 8 millions d'euros par le Dynamo de Kiev, propriétaire du joueur, débarque donc à Lyon. Une arrivée précipitée par le match défensivement catastrophique des Lyonnais à Lorient samedi soir.
