International Rhône-Alpes médias (IRAM) est né à Saint-Etienne d'un projet commun: Université Jean Monnet de Saint-Etienne, Université Lumière Lyon 2 et l'Association mondiale des Journaux WAN-IFRA. La plateforme IRAM a vocation à être un carrefour entre les partenaires scientifiques et culturels qui s'intéressent au domaine de la presse et des médias.
