C'est à coups de pince que les grues s'attaquent à la démolition du bâtiment EDF, rue de Morteau. En plus des deux contraintes prévues, la proximité de la route et celle des transformateurs électrique, s'est ajoutée une difficulté inattendue : la robustesse de la structure du bâtiment, avec un béton d'époque bien plus costaud que ce qu'il se fait de nos jours.

    Authorities on the French Indian Ocean island of Mayotte on Monday begin demolishing homes in a large slum in an operation against sub-standard housing and illegal migration. France has deployed hundreds of police officers and gendarmes in Mayotte -- the country's poorest department -- since April to prepare a major security measure called Operation Wuambushu ("Take Back" in the local language).
