The dismantling of the scaffolding around the spire of Notre-Dame de Paris, which was burnt in a fire in 2019, is underway and is expected to take a few months. The spire should be fully visible for the Paris Olympic Games, as the public institution confirmed to AFP. IMAGES
Carpenters at Paris Notre Dame Cathedral cheer as the last dowel is hammered in its wooden frame structure rebuilt identically to the original medieval-age one.
