US confirms Blinken trip to Beijing

The United States confirms that Secretary of State Antony Blinken has rescheduled a rare visit to Beijing for this weekend. "The secretary's visit falt builts on a series of engagements following the conversation between President Biden and President Xi in Bali, where they agreed to keep channels open," State Department spokesman Matthew Miller tells reporters.
