The Boeing 737 MAX takes off for a test flight from Dallas by American Airlines with members of the news media onboard, in an effort to reassure the public of the plane's safety after it was grounded for 20 months following two deadly crashes. Convicted "Golden State Killer" Joseph James DeAngelo Jr, a former police officer who hid in plain sight for four decades, arrives in the courtroom on the final day of court hearings.
