Speaking to MEPs in Brussels, Israel's Foreign Minister Eli Cohen says his country's war with Hamas is "not just the war of the state of Israel," but concerns the "free world". Cohen's address comes more than a month after Hamas' deadly attack on Israel, in which at least 1,400 people were killed. Nayef al-Sudairi, the Saudi envoy to Jordan, and recently named ambassador for the Palestinian territories and consul general for Jerusalem, meets with Palestinian top diplomat Riyad al-Maliki on a rare visit to the occupied West Bank.
