Israel air defence systems intercept Gaza rocket barrage over Ashkelon

Israeli air defence systems intercept a rocket barrage fired from the Gaza Strip over the southern coastal city of Ashkelon. Israel and Gaza militants traded more heavy fire Thursday, the third day of the worst escalation of violence in months that has killed 28 people in the blockaded Palestinian enclave and one in Israel.
