Battery inside Flight 370’s black box locater had expired, report says

A 584-page report into the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 published on Sunday revealed that the battery of the missing plane’s black box 'pinger' had expired more than a year before the plane mysteriously vanished while flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
