Up to 86 people were killed over the weekend when Nigerian terror group Boko Haram attacked a village in the northeast of the country, the Washington Post reported.
Suspected Boko Haram insurgents shot dead at least 80 people in a raid in a town in northeast Nigeria on Wednesday, military and local sources said, according to multiple reports. Reuters reports this is part of a resurgence of attacks in Borno state in the past month.
Niger says around 75 Boko Haram combatants have been killed in the southeast and in neighbouring Nigeria by a regional anti-jihadist force. IMAGES
