According to a source close to the investigation, the target of the raids is Guillaume Pradoura, a former assistant to embattled EU lawmaker Maximilian Krah, of the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. The European Parliament has announced that it has opened an investigation into the MEP. According to the Russian investigative website The Insider (based in Latvia), Tatjana Zdanoka, a non-attached MEP elected in 2004, is alleged to have collaborated with the Russian security services (FSB) from 2005. More than 400 million European voters will choose a new five-year EU parliament between June 6 and 9 next year, announces the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola. "Every person, in every member state, will go to vote" she says, "your vote matters".
