The United States warns it will take action against companies and nations working with Iran's drone program after Russia used the imports for deadly kamikaze strikes in Kyiv. "The US will not hesitate to use sanctions or take actions against perpetrators," US State Department principal deputy spokesperson Vedant Patel says. SOUNDBITE
The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken warns his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov that the US and it's European allies are prepared to take "united, swift and severe action" against Russia if they pursue aggressive action against Ukraine. SOUNDBITE
Russian ambassador to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzia warns of an "uncontrollable escalation" as the United States presses to extend an arms embargo on Iran or impose UN sanctions that could kill a nuclear deal. SOUNDBITE
"I can confirm that the United States provided Ukraine with long-range ATACMs at the President's direction," US State Department spokesman Vedant Patel tells reporters. Biden "quietly directed his national security team to send ATACMs to Ukraine for use inside Ukrainian sovereign territory in February. They started moving as part of the military aid package we announced on March 12th," Patel adds. SOUNDBITE
Iran fired "over 200 killer drones, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles towards the State of Israel" says Israeli army spokesperson Daniel Hagari adding that Israel has "intercepted the vast majority of incoming missiles". SOUNDBITE
