Kamini a marqué l’histoire d’Internet avec Marly-Gomont, dont le clip est le premier buzz français sur YouTube. Dans une interview inédite, il nous confie ses souvenirs et nous explique l’impact que ce succès a eu sur lui, sur les gens et sur ce village. Il n’est pas non plus en manque de projets. « Je viens pas de Paname mais de Marly-Gomont » : personne n’a oublié Marly Gomont, et relancer ce célèbre clip donne un agréable goût de nostalgie sur ce qu’était Internet il y a 20 ans. Car Marly-Gomont a profondément marqué l’histoire de YouTube : ce clip de rap — au flow impeccable — est le premier buzz de la plateforme en France. « Ça s’est passé le 12 septembre 2006, en tout cas pour moi », nous confie Kamini dans notre interview Cybercafé, dans laquelle il nous raconte l’histoire du clip et son impact. Cette date n’est pas celle de la mise en ligne de la vidéo sur YouTube, mais celle où, pour la première fois, quelqu’un reconnaît Kamini dans la rue.
