Thousands of people gather in central Paris around Place de la République, protesting against racism and police violence. The mass rally was called by the family of Adama Traoré, a 24-year-old black man who was killed in 2016 while in police custody. Many of the demonstrators are calling for "justice and truth" in the case. However, there is also growing anger among law enforcement over the accusations of racism. President Emmanuel Macron is scheduled to address the issue in a speech to the nation on Sunday. (COMPLETE VIDI1TD986_EN, VIDI1TD8JE_EN, VIDI1TD7C3_EN) IMAGES
