The first Austrian voters head to a polling station in Vienna to cast their ballots in the last day of European Parliament elections. Voting takes place in 21 EU member countries, with the bloc facing a range of challenges, including the ongoing war in Ukraine, global trade and industrial tensions, a climate emergency and a West that, within months, may have to adapt to a new Donald Trump presidency.
