Hundreds of thousands of Hindu pilgrims take a dip in the holy Ganges river to mark the beginning of Kumbh Mela- the world’s largest religious gathering – amid fears of coronavirus pandemic. Pilgrims from across India plunged into the sacred river at designated spots in the northern city of Haridwar, where the current mega event is being held.
