Zoo d'Amnéville : le singe capucin d'Hayange va mieux

Le singe capucin qui avait été aperçu à Hayange a été capturé par les pompiers et remis au zoo d'Amnéville, seul lieu capacitaire pour ce genre d'animal dans le secteur. L'une des deux vétérinaires du parc, Vanesse Alerte, nous décrit l'état général du primate et les soins qui lui ont été apportés. Les nouvelles sont rassurantes,cette femelle adulte étant hors de danger.

Copenhagen zoo welcomes baby elephant birth

The Zoo of Copenhagen has released footage of a baby elephant which was born last week in captivity as part of a European breeding program for Asian elephants. The mother is 16 year old Maha Kumari and the fathers name is Fahim. The name and gender of the baby elephant aren't known yet. Calves weight in beetween 70 and 90kg at birth after spending 22 months in their mothers wombs, the longest gestation in the animal kindom. Edinburgh Zoo pandas loaded onto plane for their return to China

Crates containing two endangered giant pandas are loaded onto a plane as they return to China after 12 years in the United Kingdom at Edinburgh Zoo in Scotland.
